Wow! Nupur - That was an awesome post. Btw, Okra Sambhar is my all time favorite dish. I need a regular fix of this dish every fortnight, else I feel I might die. ;-) Have you tried Bally's glass Mason jars? They are available at WF's and are also suitable for pickling and canning. An awesome, informative post, Nupur. Especially for folks living abroad and do not know what to buy and make. We buy whole wheat Tortillas for bean wraps, egg wraps and they work just fine. Very handy on days when you don't want to move a muscle. I prefer making Ghee and buying Paneer, just for the ease. This spring I began making good old Limbu Sherbet at home. Sigh! the sweet

Thanks for the info Nupur! Will check it out. In India, there is a warm milky drink that's served as mid-day beverage, esp. during weddings and any family celebrations. Its known as Malt (sometimes they even serve Raagi Malt). The original 'Malt' as they call it has Maltova like flavor with a hint of crunchy butterscotch.
