Hey Monica,
I have been reading your blog for a long long time and I really appreciate the great work you do.
I have noticed one small thing I couldn't help but correct. It is never 'chola'. It is chhole bhature and chhole kulche.
I know it sounds a little odd for me to pin point such a small thing, but trust, that word is really really bad in Punjabi. You don't want to know what it means.

@ stranger: Thanks for your feedback :)I don't know whether it came across that well but the little girl was not quite fond of her grand dad. That is why she ignored him in the beginning of the story, thinking that he's doing naatak. But the sudden death, confused her young mind. She didn't like him, but she didn't expect him to die.In the end of the story, her state of mind is perplexed.I'll try to emphasize and make it clearer. Thanks.P.S: Welcome to my blog :)(...)

Haha..yes! We are a crazy generation in the transition period. I think we got the best of both worlds. On a less humourous note, I think that makes us really responsible...coz we can understand the point of view of the generation gone by as well as the generation ahead of us.
